Job Purpose
We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Account Manager to join our highly successful private client FX dealing desk. Working alongside an experienced Foreign Exchange (FX) sales team, who will train and coach you throughout. In this role, you will learn how to offer the best rates, build a strong relationship with clients, and develop a keen interest in the market. Throughout your career with GC Partners, you’ll develop an in-depth knowledge of financial markets, current affairs, economics, and foreign exchange.
Duties/Responsibilities
Over the course of your development as a Junior Account Manager, you will:

- Learn to take ownership of client interactions, ensuring their needs are met with timely and accurate guidance throughout the money transfer process.
- Be proactive in resolving issues and committed to delivering excellent service.
- Approach client engagement with enthusiasm, demonstrating a genuine interest in understanding their needs and exceeding their expectations. Through a positive attitude and dedication, inspire trust and confidence.
- Work closely with team members and departments to deliver seamless client experiences. Share knowledge and contribute to collective success by fostering open communication and mutual support.
- Tailor interactions to each client’s unique needs and knowledge level, providing bespoke solutions that align with their goals and circumstances.
- In time, act as a key point of contact for clients, engaging with individuals across all levels of knowledge and expertise to provide tailored support.
- Guide clients through the process of transferring money, ensuring a smooth, informed, and client-first experience at every stage.
- Provide day-to-day support to the private client dealing team, contributing to the seamless delivery of our services.
- Assist first-time users with navigating and utilising our online platform, offering guidance and reassurance throughout their journey.
- Proactively develop relationships with our existing client base, focusing on upselling services and expanding client lifetime value (LV).
- Acquire the skills and expertise needed to promote and sell our full range of FX services effectively.
- Develop a clear understanding of our Consumer Duty policy and procedures and ensure they form part of your day-to-day role.
Qualification & Experience
- Some customer service or sales experience in any environment preferred but not essential
- Educated to degree level
